Center City Crime Victim Services

A major part of what keeps Center City Philadelphia safe and attractive are the concerned residents and employees who spend time here.  Without a population that is committed to cooperating with authorities and doing their part in the fight against crime, the safety and happiness we know here would not be possible.

CCCVS needs concerned, caring community members as volunteers. We also collaborate with schools offering internships for students. If you are interested in volunteering or interning, please contact us.

Opportunities include:

  • Attending preliminary hearings
  • Tracking cases
  • Supporting victims
  • Providing support to a victim during a trial
  • Processing VCAP forms and claims
  • Clerical Work/Data Entry
  • Community Outreach
  • Event Planning
  • Fund Development

If you are interested in volunteering with CCCVS in a capacity other than those listed above, we would still love to dialogue with you about where your skill set and passions align with the services we provide to the community.

If you are unable to volunteer, but would still like to be involved with the work we do, we invite you to partner with us financially as you are able.  CCCVS is a non-profit agency, funded by grants and donations that support the work we do and impact the greater community of Philadelphia.

Donations can be sent directly to our office, electronically by clicking below, or through United Way of South Eastern Pennsylvania indicating our organization number (12409).

Recycling is also helping CCCVS raise money. CCCVS has been earning cash by participating in FundingFactory Recycling Program. We collect empty cartridges, cell phones, small electronics and laptops from the community and send the waste products to FundingFactory in exchange for cash. You can help by bringing us your old catridges and electronics at 42 S 15th St, suite 1103, Philadelphia Pa. We'll even pick up your recyclables for you to save you a trip. Please call us or email Sherry at shunter.cccvs.org for more information, or even visiting www.FundingFactory.com.
